I do understand some of the reasons... and a lot of it is allowing other's expectations to influence my life.. in my 40's I said enough! Was thinking about it earlier today and the words of a really old song came to mind about a woman who had been everywhere, done everything but 'hadn't been to me'. IMHO personal integrity is important and I imagine you standing with your hands on your hips going 'here I am, this is my life, any issues are yours 'cos I am being true to me and those I love!'
