Put away the pitchforks...

Tuesday, May 29, 2012
Y'all can douse the torches and put away the pitchforks. Just a couple of hours ago, I hit "send" on an email submitting "Love Slave for Two: Reunions (Book 3)" to my publisher. :) So keep your fingers crossed for me! (Hey, I'm a neurotic, paranoid writer. I sweat EVERY submission!)

Just in case you missed any of the first three books (yes, one's a prequel that snuck up on me), the reading order is:

  1. Love Slave for Two: Beginnings (prequel)
  2. Love Slave for Two (Book 1)
  3. Love Slave for Two: Family Matters (Book 2)
I'll be honest, when I first came up with "Love Slave for Two," it was originally intended to be a one-off book, not a series. Then readers kept asking me what happened next, and how did Tom and Tyler meet, etc. I knew the backstory in my head, of course, but never meant to put it out as a prequel. I ended up getting the idea for "LSFT: Family Matters" and it practically wrote itself. Then, so many more people asked for the backstory, I ended up writing it.

"LSFT: Reunions" is much lighter in tone than the second one, don't worry. Hell, do you honestly think Tyler can prod his brood across the country in an RV and NOT have some hysterical things happen? LOL And book 4 won't take a fraction as long to write. I'm already working on it and hope to have it turned in in a few weeks.

Oh, and here's another hint: Del, John, and Sarah from my book "Dead Moon Rising" make an appearance as well, for those of you who were wondering what happened to them. :) (Yes, I'm sneaky like that.)

  1. @SusieJ - LOL Thank you! :) And no, there won't be a long wait until book 4, either. Have already started on it. I'm planning *touch wood for luck* on having book 4 done and submitted in the next 2 months, as well as getting the next two Triple Trouble books done and submitted by the end of the year. So...wish me luck! LOL

Oh oh!!! Excellent news! I just finished re-reading the entire LSFT series. Now I'll have to go back and re-read Dead Moon Rising. Another of my old favorites. :)

I'm hanging on to my pitchfork though. I'm still holding out for more from the Bightmares universe. Those are my ALL TIME favorites, hands down. I've lost count on how many times I've re-read them.

OMG!!! Thank you. I really have missed Nevvie, Tyler and Tom. I really hope you do more with Andrew's story, too.
You know, you are the one that got me interested in stories of gay couplings & threesomes. You have really broadened my reading library, not to mention my imagination.
I'm so glad we get to hear more about Dell, John and Sarah. I love their story.
Thank you got being so intune with your readers, you're AWESOME!!!

*Squeals* *snoopy dance* This made my day. I feel in love with these three. I have so looking forward to reading more about how their RV trip would go. Tymber you sure know how to make a story come to life. Congrats and keep writing those amazing stories for us. Good Luck! Tammy/barefootokie

  1. YAY!!! I love this series, may have mentioned this before in some post or other...but this was my first Tymber Dalton book! I tell you, you made me laugh, you made me cry (especially in book 2), I was right-down bawling in the middle of the night. I had to stay up and finish reading it, probably looked like a mess the next day at work, bu it was so worth it ;) Thanks so much for continuing with Nevvie, Tyler and Tom's story. I will wait patiently for it *if you could hurry it up!* I would be forever grateful ;D
