Hi Tymber, [couldn't post at the blog so..] Besides really liking your work, I do admire your honesty and personal integrity. Was thinking about it earlier today and the words of a really old song came to mind about a woman who had been everywhere, done everything but 'hadn't been to me'. IMHO personal integrity is important and I imagine you standing with your hands on your hips going 'here I am, this is my life, any issues are yours 'cos I am being true to me and those I love!' Good for you. It is just a bit sad that sometimes it takes some life and living to be done before we women can feel our own power and selfconfidence. smile and sigh.

  1. @Vanessa - Thanks. :) Yeah, I wish I'd felt this secure in my own skin years ago. But I'm done making excuses or apologies for who or what I am. I'm literally the happiest I have ever been in my life right now, and I refuse to back down from that. :)

Yes, I understand. For me it took to my 40's now in my 50's I am thinking 'what the... why did it take this long for me to be happy with me?' I do understand some of the reasons... and a lot of it is allowing other's expectations to influence my life.. in my 40's I said enough! And like you I am happy with life right now. :-)
