"The End" and other beginnings.

(Don't forget about the contest!)

Well, I typed "The End" on "Triple Dog Dare (Triple Trouble 4)" and submitted it to my publisher today. Whew! I know, plenty of y'all have been ready to lynch me for leaving the next installment for so long. But hey, don't forget, you'll get "Fire and Ice," the prequel here in just a few weeks, along with other new releases I've got coming out. :)

(Hey, I can only type so fast. LOL)

I promise Triple Trouble 5 won't take me so long to get written. I'm bogged down in edits for the next couple of weeks, so I have to get those knocked out.

So for today's question, a little bit of fun. There's no right or wrong answer, I'm just curious to hear what's going through your minds. Picking any of my books/series, I'd like to hear your thoughts about where you think/hope the future storyline is going. I always get a kick out of it when readers write me with suggestions like that. Sometimes they're spot-on what I'd planned, sometimes they're out of left field, but I always like it because it means, to me, that I've done my job. That the reader has invested some little part of themselves in my scribbles and has a personal attachment to it. That means I got it right. It means I've incited emotions, good or bad, and as a writer that's part of my job.

Let's hear your thoughts/suggestions/hopes.

(Don't forget to add your comment sooner rather than later for a chance to win!)

for me i am picking 'love slave for two'...i have always loved this series. where i would like/imagine the series to go is see more of Tyler's father plus seeing some of his past coming back to haunt the family. I'd also would think it'd be really sweet if nevvie would have a little daughter

I'm a newish fan here, I've only read Cardinal's Rule and Safe Harbor so far. I would love to read a second on both of these stories though. I'm looking forward to picking up some more of your books though and the chance to win the ereader is fabulous. Thank you so much.

This is actually a hard one. I know I have to do a reread of the triplets, because it's been a while for me, but what stuck in my head the most was GRRRRRR - she ended it like THAT!!! I think I even rechecked my copy to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

I will say that I have enjoyed every story. One of the first books that I "ugly" cried while reading was Reluctant Dom (I am not a crier either). That book really opened my eyes and made me take a new and exciting view on an interesting and different lifestyle. One I have looked into actually, but in my area have gotten NO where. So I just sit back enjoy reading about it.

No matter which book I have read of yours, you get me involved with the characters and make me think about them long after reading it. I may forget the jist of the book until I pick it up again, but it's the characters that stick with me.

So I have no real brilliant ideas of where you are going with your books. I just enjoy where I have been.

I love all your series but my favorite is the Tamora Bight series. I loved your world building in the story. I LOVED Aaron, Ford and Caphis as well as their chemistry with Emi! I can not tell you how many times I have re-read the 2 books in the series. I would love for their family to expand as well as hear more about the other two crews. I would love for them to go on other expeditions to other worlds, as well as expand on their relationship. I think they would make great parents! I hope there will be more books in this series but I have to say that I have enjoyed everything you have written so far.

Oh I'm really looking forward to the hijinks that may happen with TNT + extended family. I know you've said that the next installment of Love Slave will be lighter in tone than the last one but I'm sure there'll still be a tear or two in me eyes when Nevvie meets up with her mum (well, I hope she does cause I'd like her to have some resolution about her family stuff just like Ty & Tom have had).
I'm also eagerly awaiting the next installment of the Bight crew. Gotta find out how it's going for the Geek boys and the Military brats.
Thanks again for all your writing. Keep it up please :) and good luck with all the edits

I would love to see more of the exended family in the Triple Trouble series and in the non series books, would like to see what is happening now with the Reluctant Dom and Safe Harbor families.

  1. I was trying to think about the ones of read so far and I wasn't sure but Pat mentioned Reluctant Dom and a follow up and how they are doing would be fun.

Fell in love with the characters from "Stoneface". Would love to see a book about Liam. He has all the greatness of what a brother should be. It's so sad to see that a person appreciates life more when it has a countdown with illnesses. A lesson to not take life for granted. I'll bet it will be a tear-jerker, but I'm a sucker for a good cry.

I am excited to know the next installments on Triple Trouble and Fire and Ice are coming out. I emailed you a couple years ago about wondering if Tyler's Father will find someone to share he life with, and hinted if that person would be Tom's brother-in-law, Clay. My thought was they both had terrible ex-wives. You quickly responded Clay is not gay, and as of right now Clay is a minor character. So I guess I was one of those in left field. I would have to say now I still hope Tyler's Father finds someone, and Nevvie makes peace with her past in regards to her family. Bottom line you are the writer and I am the reader. I know I will enjoy each installment of all of your series. Keep writing because I can promise I will keep reading.

I've really only read the 'love slave for two', 'triple trouble' and bightmare series, however, I have re-read them so many times I'm wearing the pages thin. What I would like, mmmm, cannot really decide. What to tell you well......I wouldn't dare. :) please let Elaine have pups (and if you can fill the gaps with books until then - due to her biological clock no longer ticky - all the better for us :). I would like to see the Military Brats dabbling into the bi-side of life but the BG crew sharing accommodation. With TNT - not sure but happy to hear that the tone will be a little lighter - as long as Tommy and Tyler are still really close to each other - I love their time together. Whatever you decide to do with the books, there is no doubt I will be reading them. I look forward to Fire and Ice and TT4, however, I think I may look into the others that you have written. Happy editing and thank you so much for all you have done.

  1. Hey, I'd also love to see more in the Love Bytes series. LOVED both of those!!!! Have reread them numerous times. Doesn't matter where that one goes. I just loved it! Same with Triple Trouble. I have about dying for more for that series!!

Ok, ok, ok...so I just love your books. ;)

I'm not picky. I love seeing how your mind sets the story lines.

I would love more of LOVE SLAVE FOR TWO. It would be great to finally find out why Nevvie was given up for adoption & to see that reunion. I would also like to see Andrew meet sometime new. I know Peggy is still so in love & devoted to her late husband, but I hate her being alone so I think it would be great if she met someone new. We didn't really get to meet Karen's new boyfriend, so some more on that. And finally, Clay deserves somebody better than Emily, shes a royal bitch.
I would also love to hear more about Liam in STONEFACE. He is such a sweetie & deserves someone special.
Anything more with the triplets would be good.
Lets face it, you just keep putting out your wonderful stories & we'll keep buying them, you just can't go wrong. Thank you for sharing your gift.

  1. I love every single book that I've read. I feel like I spend some time out of my own reality in to someone elses'. Sometimes they are a comfort to me, sometimes they remind me that no matter what I am going through at the time, there are others who might be hurting as bad or worse.

I agree with a lot of the comments here. I have been eagerly awaiting the next in the Triple Trouble series and I think the wait was longer than I would have liked because it was the first series of your books that I read. I would also love to see another installment of the Bight series.

I must confess though that as often as I have re-read just about all of your books, I have a love-hate relationship with The Reluctant Dom. I read it during a time when I was missing my grandfather who had just recently died of cancer and it dredged up a lot of emotions and memories (of watching him get sicker and sicker) that I thought I had purged. While reading it, I found myself wanting to throw my Kindle across the room several times. :-) Beautiful book, but still painful for me to read

I do often wonder though, now that they cat is out of the bag about Macy and Tessa, Have you ever thought about a crossover of Stoneface and Dead Moon Rising? Maybe common friends where they make and appearance?

    Just a thought.

I would love to expand on Cross Country Chaos. Perhaps one if the other Team members story. I reread this story every few months as well as safe harbor.

  1. I sat here viewing all the books I've purchased and kept saying they were each my favorite so it is very hard to decide exactly which one it. I guess Cardinal's Run and the Reluctant Don are tops but I like the "Love slave for Two" as well. Where any of these go from one book to the next would be hard for me to determine with my lack of imagination. But I'm glad there are people that have the imagination for keep us entertained.

  1. I would LOVE more from the Love Slave series. As I'm reading from the Brimstone series all I can think about is Rafael and how it's going to play along in the series in the future. Will he come back and then there's a MFM possibility in the future. *pretty please*. No pressure. Lol.

  1. My favorite book has always been "The Reluctant Dom." I don't think this is really a book for a series, as it stands alone so beautifully. What I would love to would be to read more stories from the POV of a Dom. So much of the stuff out there is written from the perspective of the sub. (Which is okay. I understand it.) But it is so facinating to read about the relationship from inside a top's head.

I am quietly, patiently waiting on a sequel to "Fierce Radiance". There are so many directions to go in with that story. Pick one I don't care what you choose , because if you write it I'll read it. Iwould love to find out how things are going between Caz, Jor, and Dalmetri. See how that relationship turns out. I would also really like to check in and see how Aine, Ker, and Sammuel are doing.
