Contest! And release day! :)

Monday, November 12, 2012
Woot! Today is release day for "Porpoiseful Intent," the second book in my Placida Pod series. You know what that means, right?

http://www.bookstrand.com/porpoiseful-intent

(And if you missed book one, "Accidentally on Porpoise," you can also get that from Siren-BookStrand HERE.)

CONTEST! :)

I posted a pic yesterday of the amigurumi alligator version I made of hunky Cajun alligator shifter, Wyatt (who will have a larger role in later books). He's a friend of Emery's who helps Emery's pod out in a search.

Today, I give you the amigurumi version of Emery. :)

Do you want to win one of them? (Heh heh heh.) This is open to anyone regardless of where you are in the world.

All you have to do is leave a comment about why you think you'd be a good home for Emery or Wyatt. I will leave the comments open until 9pm Eastern time, Thursday, 11/15. Then I'll use random.org to pick two winners, and I'll post the winners' names in the comments. The winners have 48 hours to contact me to collect their prizes, or I'll pick alternate winners (who'll have 48 hours, and so on) until both of them are claimed and winging their way to good homes. :)

Remember, leave a comment on this blog post (here, not on Facebook or Twitter, etc.) about why you'd be a good home for Emery or Wyatt. :)

So stay tuned to this blog, remember to hit the checkbox to receive updates when new comments are posted, and good luck!! :)

UPDATE: I've completed a second Wyatt for the giveaway, and am working on a second Emery. That means a total of four winners. :) So make sure you add your comment for a chance to win!

I have some cute owls for them to hang out with. :-D Maybe even a dragon or two. They'll also get to see beautiful Washington state.

  1. Oh, Tymber! I have a great home for Wyatt!! I live in Georgia, we have alligators, tho not as populated with them in other states. I have access to a lake he can swim in occasionally or I have a very large tub he and lounge in. We have lots n lots of squirrels and such around here, so if he is hungry, in 'gator form, he can have a blast! I won't collar him, as he is way too Alpha for that...but maybe, only in 'gator form so everyone will know he is safe to be around???

I have several animals that keep watch over my writing desk and books. I would love to add one of these to my collection. They will make new friends.

  1. Oh, they would love my home, I have several stuffed animals on my couch, when my nieces come over, they play with them, but they are always gentle with the because they know what those little animals mean to me :)

Wow, you've been busy! I would make a good home for Wyatt since an alligators, shifter or not, interests me and I have no little people or animals in my homes who would mess with him! Emery would enjoy my home because I'm a water nymph who would love to share my love of water with him while not getting him wet!
Thanks for the giveaway. All joking aside, I would cherish them!

I will let them sleep on my pillow while I curl around them cuddling them close. They will be fed whenever they want(not too much candy but enough to know they are special) I will carry them in my purse where ever I go so that they are never lonely. They will be spoiled more than my 2 legged kids :)

  1. I would love a Wyatt friend. He can be a good snuggly buddy when I need one. And best of all he can't talk back like the rest of my family. LOL. He can help scare the squirrels away.

But an Emery would be fun too. He can help keep the fish in line. I just know some of them are plotting something, they just keep staring at me.

Great blog and I have almost all your books. Please keep up the great work.
    Thanks,
    Nicole

  1. Okay... Sorry for me being late on picking the winners, but skeet ran late last night and we had to clean our living room carpet today (don't ask).
